Do you find that you lack the confidence to voice your opinion with authority incase you are wrong? Do you feel the pressure to know everything in meetings and that if you don't you won't be seen as legitimate and credible? Do you feel like you are never enough? That you struggle to find a balance between work and wellbeing? Are you concerned that your performance is not as good as you feel it should be or could be?
If there is a strong YES to any of these (or lots of them) then you are in the right place. Just to add...everyone I've ever worked with feels this way at times!
Get mindset ready for the emotional, psychological and mental challenges of leadership so you can maintain passion and joy.
Express yourself from an authentic and empowered position, focus on your own standards rather than what others think of you.
High performing, emotionally intelligent leadership. The confidence to say what you mean and stand by it with compassion.
Discover and explore your core purpose and values as a leader. These become your compass for getting clear on who you are and expressing that with authenticity. When you act in alignment with your values and purpose you'll approach life with greater flow, productivity and authority. Decision making becomes quicker, easier and creates less internal and external conflict.
How do you build trust in yourself and your decisions so that you can deliver with confidence and bring people with you on the journey? In Month 2 we spend time understanding the blocks to trust, the small changes that make the biggest difference to how others perceive your trustworthiness and the vital steps to increasing your own self-belief.
Month 3 concentrates on getting mindset ready for the emotional, psychological and mental challenges of leadership and teaches you why true leadership has got nothing to do with what others think of you. We'll focus on creating optimal levels of wellbeing so that you use your mental resources where and when needed, without wasting time or energy on over attending to tasks or overthinking issues.
Delivering feedback, having awkward conversations and dealing with relationship conflicts in general is the focus for month 4. How do you handle difficult conversations in a way that shows emotional intelligence, maintains a positive company culture and doesn't leave you or them overthinking or feeling stressed about it? You'll develop the confidence to enter into awkward conversations with stakeholders, team members, co-founders and customers that leaves everyone feeling heard and valued.
Performing at your Positive Potential® is not about perfection, but it is about nailing your boundaries and standards and then delivering on them in a way that sets the tone for your leadership. We take a look at how the common psychological blocks like imposter syndrome, perfectionism and fear can get in the way of your impact and how to resolve these so you can optimise for performance.
To bring together all the learning and exploration you'll be creating your Positive Potential® Plan, this is where you input all the data you have discovered about who you are as a leader, how to express yourself from an authentic and empowered position, how to focus on your own standards rather than what others think of you, how to maintain wellbeing as a leader and then how to deliver on everything with the confidence to say what you mean and stand by it with compassion.
